Donald
As a result of some ongoing health issues, Donald was in need of a relatively sedentary position. He came to DePaul with relevant work experience, including accounts payable and management experience. The Oregon State Vocational Rehabilitation program sent Donald to DePaul to gain updated skills required for today’s job market. We enrolled Donald in a Customized Training program. This program included the following components: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Basic Access, Keyboarding, and Ten Key. Donald’s program was written for a three month completion time. Donald completed his training program within the targeted time frame, and was able to move immediately into a job opportunity through the DePaul Staffing Department. On July 16th, Donald started a six-week Office Specialist position with the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. |
