When Tony arrived at DePaul, he was coming from a background of manual labor work experience. His new goal was, “getting away from manual labor into a career that does not demand physical strength.” However, he did not have any experience or training in the field that he was interested in.

Tony enrolled in our Office Assistant program, completing a standard four month program in approximately three months.

After completing several short term assignments through DePaul’s staffing department, Tony was placed in a four-month position with the state Board of Construction using his basic clerical training and abilities.
