DePaul Packaging, the Food & Consumer Goods Packaging Division of DePaul Industries, has again been awarded the American Institute of Baking International’s (AIB) “Superior” rating in its annual food safety audit of the company’s facilities. This is the 4th year in a row the DePaul Packaging has earned the coveted “Superior” rating, which is the highest possible ranking issued by AIB International based on the AIB Consolidated Standards for Food Safety. “This is not an audit you can get ready for overnight. We’ve been refining our food safety procedures for more than six years to accomplish this consistent performance,” said Stearman. “We have a laser beam focus on maintaining this level of excellence and quality control. Reaching this goal was only possible to achieve it through a rigorous team effort.”

AIB’s in-plant audit program includes a complete evaluation and technical assistance from food safety auditors regarding food production, packaging and distribution.
