What is the HOW Program?
Heart of the Workforce Training is a workforce development program specifically designed for employees entering into the Food and Beverage Manufacturing, Processing, and Distribution Industry. The program consists of four main parts:
- Food Safe Manufacturing Practices
- Workforce Readiness
- Workforce Safety
- Food Handlers
Instead of conceding to high turnover rates of seasonal and temporary workers, the HOW program prepares workers for work before they get in the door -- reducing turnover rates and vastly decreasing expenses. The HOW program has taken turnover rates from 35% - 35% down to 20% - 25% in the food processing industry.

DePaul Staffing will deliver better trained and better prepared workers, because our HOW Program is not just a classroom -- it's a necessity. It's not just the teaching of theory -- It's the imparting of the how and why by professionals who work in food processing.
