Amina Fisher is a strategic and creative marketer with extensive management and consulting experience. She joined the DePaul Industries Board in 2017.
In her role as client partner with CYLNDR Content Agency, Amina builds trusting client relationships and uses her prior experience in marketing and advertising to help develop and execute holistic programs designed to drive top-line revenue, increase market share, and deliver a remarkable consumer experience. She is adept at guiding strategic planning and creative execution for multi-channel campaigns including TV, print, radio, digital, and experiential marketing.
Prior to joining CYLNDR, Amina worked for Edelman Public Relations on their Digital team. In this role, she had the opportunity to work with enterprise organizations such as Vulcan, Inc., and be a part of fostering the vision and philanthropic efforts of Microsoft co-founder Paul G. Allen. This work spoke to a personal passion of Amina’s and allowed her to contribute to Paul’s efforts to make the world a better place through innovative technology, preservation of the arts, and conservation of animals and natural resources.
Amina began her marketing career at Diageo North America and worked on several global brands such as Johnnie Walker, Guinness, and Captain Morgan over her ten years with the company. While leading several Brand Ambassador Programs, launching multiple innovations, and assisting in advertising development, she gained through-the-line experience in developing programs and communications to drive volume growth, and increase consumer and trade awareness of these premium spirits.
After Diageo, Amina moved into product advertising, and spent time working for a full-service creative agency called Colangelo Synergy Marketing. At Colangelo, Amina had the opportunity to work with Church & Dwight Co., Inc. on their Trojan Condoms brands, and was instrumental in their website redesign, as well as launching several brand innovations and executing a 22-day experience in Panama City Beach, FL, during spring break 2015.
Amina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a focus on marketing from Berkeley College in New York City.
