Serving as a single point of entry, the Project SEARCH DePaul Employment Program coordinates job development and agency referrals with human resource needs. Its goal is to match individuals with developmental disabilities in non-traditional jobs and to provide on-site support staff to help individuals maintain employment and advance their careers.


Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Project SEARCH DePaul, participants must:

  • - Be a minimum of 18 years old

  • - Desire to work

  • - Be eligible for vocational rehabilitation services

  • - Have a willingness to access independent transportation options

  • - Possess basic communication skills

  • - Possess appropriate and independent social, grooming and hygiene skills

  • - Be able to pass drug screen and felony check
