DePaul Staffing schedules Orientation (by Appointment Only) twice daily— 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

During this process, you will:
• Complete DePaul's application
• Take a basic skills assessment and a computer assessment if interested in clerical positions
• Meet with the screener who will review your application, resume, and skills assessment and administer the drug screen

Plan to spend approximately two hours for orientation.

Questions You'll be Asked

• What positions are you interested in and have experience in?
• What shifts are you available to work?
• What locations are you willing & available to work in?
• Do you travel by car or public transportation?
• What is the minimum hourly wage you are willing to accept? (Remember: If you decide that $10.00/hr. is your lowest acceptable wage and a position opens for $9.75/hr., you will not be called.)

Application Information

• Personal information: Address, Phone number, Social Security Number
• Work History: 3 most recent jobs including Company name, Phone number, Address; Supervisor/contact, Employment dates; Job title, Duties & responsibilities; Reason for leaving
• Home addresses for the past 10 years
• Skills: Computer programs you are proficient in and/or Machinery you are qualified to operate
• Resume: If you have one already prepared, be sure to bring a clean copy
• Two forms of identification for I-9 form (Most common forms are a Driver's License and Social Security card. Other forms of I.D. are acceptable. Please call our office for a list of documents or for questions.)

Criminal Background Check & Drug Screen

DePaul Staffing conducts criminal background checks and drug screens on all applicants. Applicants must be 18 years old, must be able to pass a drug screen, must be able to communicate effectively in English, and must pass a criminal background check (no theft or person-to-person crime convictions within the past 10 years. Crimes involving death or sex-crimes are lifetime disqualifiers.)
