DePaul can quickly develop targeted recruitment efforts to meet your specific needs. We employ a full-time, in-house recruiter dedicated to finding the best candidates through participation in local job fairs, presentations and on-site hiring at educational and community-based organizations. DePaul's Training Center also provides qualified clerical applicants.
Screening Process
DePaul Staffing Services has rigorous screening and interview procedures that have been established to ensure that only qualified associates are referred for employment with your company. During the pre-screening process, candidates are asked to complete a series of skills assessments and are given a brief interview to determine whether they possess the baseline skills necessary for employment in a competitive work environment. Applicants who meet the initial screening requirements are given a formal interview with our Employment Specialist to identify the candidate’s knowledge, skills and abilities.
DePaul Staffing candidate screening comprises criminal history investigations for every location a person has worked or resided for the past 10 years. Prior to any employment offer, DePaul Staffing completes reference checks by verifying previous employment and conducting phone interviews with a minimum of three personal references. Pre-employment drug screens are mandatory on all new hires and any employee who returns after a thirty-day separation.
Skills Testing
Using the latest in web-based testing packages, clerical candidates are tested on software, business skills, as well as basic filing, spelling and grammar. DePaul can also customize testing to meet the requirements for your company's particular position. Active associates are invited to utilize our Training Center to enhance their speed & efficiencies and then update their test results by re-testing.
